“Lena’s advice has been absolutely amazing! Since our initial consult, we’ve made some incredible progress.
The two-litter-tray setup she suggested is still working perfectly, especially with the litter they prefer. Lena also helped us realize the importance of advocating for all the pets in our household, so we put up a toddler gate to my room. Now Rex (our dog) can’t invade the cats’ space or steal their food, which has made Alfie much calmer.
Following Lena’s advice, we’ve kept Alfie on his calming meds and added Zylkene to his food. Since Eddie and Alfie eat the same diet, this change has had a positive impact on Eddie as well. While it’s clear now that they’re not friends (I can’t believe I didn’t notice this before!), they’re finally able to sleep on my bed together—something I never thought would happen!
