As parents ourselves, we understand the challenges of juggling family life and dog care firsthand. With so much conflicting advice out there, it’s easy to feel lost. But don’t worry! The Dogs & Kids Program gives you the tools to:

We’re here to make family life with your dog easier, more enjoyable, and more intuitive. After completing the program, you won’t need to dive into lengthy dog training books or endlessly search for answers online. You’ll have the skills and confidence to handle any challenges that arise, while understanding your dog’s behaviour on a deeper level.
We believe it’s important to be the best we can be—for the families we support and the dogs they love. That’s why we’ve invested in specialised training to ensure we are offering up-to-date, practical, and family-friendly guidance.
Lena has completed the Family Dog Dial Guide Program, which provides a simple, effective system to help families successfully navigate life with their pup. She’s also completed the Family Paws Parent Educator Course, which focuses on preparing families for life with a dog and baby, and supporting families living with dogs and toddlers.
Sophie brings her own extensive experience working with families who are raising kids and dogs, as well as her lived experience as a mum and guardian of two dogs and a cat. Together, we combine practical know-how, real-life family and pet experience, and professional guidance to support families through every stage — from baby bumps to busy primary schoolers — all while keeping dogs safe, happy, and included.

Two in-home consultations:
The first session (90 minutes) focuses on understanding your dog’s body language, setting up safe and practical routines, and supporting positive interactions between your dog and child.
The second session (60 minutes) builds on this foundation, addressing any emerging challenges and fine-tuning strategies to suit your unique family dynamics.
This program is designed to help families feel confident, informed, and proactive when it comes to raising kids and dogs together. Simple, science-based support tailored to your home.
