Teenage Dog Academy is our 4-week small-group course designed specifically for adolescent dogs. We’ll help you strengthen your dog’s focus, build better everyday manners and develop practical real-life skills, while helping you understand and navigate the changes that come with adolescence.

Course Details
Duration:
The Teenage Dog Academy includes 4 consecutive weekly in-person classes. Your course runs for 4 weeks from your selected start date, with classes held on the same day and time each week
Location:
Weekly classes held at either Flagstaff Hill Scout Hall or Blackwood Uniting Church.
Requirements:
Dogs must be 6-18 months old at the start of the course
Dogs must be friendly towards people and other dogs
Dogs must be able to eat treats in a training environment

Tuition: $235 for the full 4-week course.

Want extra one-on-one support alongside the course? Add a private one-hour session when you book. Priced at $155, this session includes customised training resources and a detailed email summary tailored to your dog and home environment. It’s a great way to address specific challenges at home, build confidence, and receive personalised guidance alongside the Teenage Dog Academy. Private sessions can be used anytime up to 1 month after completing the course.

Investing in a quality treat pouch makes training easier, faster, and more enjoyable for both you and your dog. Purchase a treat pouch and good quality harness at the time of booking the Teenage Dog Academy, and you’ll receive a 15% discount.
Please note: Dogs must be dog- and people-friendly to attend classes. If your dog is uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs or strangers, private training will provide a more suitable and effective platform for training success.
